Wesnoth. Olothontor already blogged about this yesterday, but on a different note. He seemed to mainly be venting on the shortcomings of the Knalgan Alliance (aka Dwarves). I'm going to talk about winning and losing, zones of control, income, rushing...

Having spent the last four or five days glued to my computer, I figure this is a wonderful way to celebrate the new blog and break in "Ollyblog" with a first serious blog post.

The topic of this first post involves something I discovered: it's called a "NUISANCE" (yes, in all caps).

Let's talk Drupal. Coming from Wordpress, it wasn't much effort to change over. While I haven't tried importing the database yet, the interface has been a non-issue. While the home page isn't a "write a new blog post" kind of thing, there is an option only one sub-level down (right under Create Content). It's clearly a content-management system and not a pure blog: there's plenty of support for non-bloggy things, which I'm heavily considering adding.

The installation was nice and easy: just make an SQL database, navigate to /index.php and wait while it sets up everything for me.

First post a flambe, anyone?
